1) Speedy lanzó una comunidad virtual educativa en Canal ar:

Se trata de Aula 365, la plataforma online desarrollada por la banda ancha del grupo Telefónica junto a Competir. Incluye recursos multimedia como blogs, wikis, más de 480 películas en flash y profesores interactivos. Sus contenidos, según la empresa, están alineados a la nueva Ley de Educación Nacional.

Con el objetivo de posicionarse como el espacio interactivo de apoyo a la educación más importante de Iberoamérica, Speedy lanzó hoy Aula 365, una comunidad virtual educativa basada en el concepto de Web 2.0. Para esto, la banda ancha del Grupo Telefónica cuenta con el apoyo de Competir, la empresa argentina de e-learning con la cual desarrolló la plataforma. La iniciativa demandó una inversión de dos millones de pesos y pretende reunir a toda la comunidad educativa.

How CBS Blew Up My Puff Piece

This story began in pursuit of an ironic 300-word puff piece about somewhat of a catfight between MoveOn.org and CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric. WebProNews is not in the habit of dabbling in political squabbles, lest they directly involve Internet and Web issues that affect online business. We also cover Web 2.0 and blogs – the new citizen media.

In short, we didn’t have a dog in this fight, and your humble author who, just like Ferris Bueller doesn’t believe in isms, would tell you he is neither Right nor Left, but maybe, if he had to label himself, is a John Stuart Mill Utilitarianist with Thomas Paine Libertarian tendencies and a slightly Aristotelian disdain for the unwashed masses (so maybe you shouldn’t ask).

5) En Minding the planet encontramos el post que nos referencia a O’Really The Semantic Web, Collective Intelligence and Hyperdata

I’m posting this in response to a recent post by Tim O’Reilly which focused on disambiguating what the Semantic Web is and is not, as well as the subject of Collective Intelligence. I generally agree with Tim’s post, but I do have some points I would add by way of clarification. In particular, in my opinion, the Semantic Web is all about collective intelligence, on several levels. I would also suggest that the term «hyperdata» is a possibly useful way to express what the Semantic Web is really all about.
