Hoy vamos a continuar con Prologue y opiniones sobre el tema. Pero para comenzar, y como no podía ser de otra manera ya tenemos la ACTUALIZACIÓN, por el autor del tema by Joseph Scott. Esto no paraaaaaa….

Prologue Gets an Update

The Prologue introduction earlier this week provided us with a lot of feed back. Based on that feed back we’ve made a few changes:

• The front page now shows a stream of recent updates instead of one update per user
• Pages now have their own template and look much better
• Avatars are only shown once for sequential posts by the same author (front page and tag pages)
• Post titles are no longer empty, they are generated based on the beginning of each post
• Works out of the box for WordPress.org 2.3.2

Prologue. Tema de WordPress y Twitter. Matt Mullenweg

Hace dos años en el encuentro en Sevilla de EBE06, ya posteé sobre Matt Mullenweg, un joven que me sorprendió…posteé algunas cosas en aquel entonces como el lunes 20 de noviembre de 2006 Ya sabemos lo que más le atrae a Matt Mullenweg del español, lo hemos descubierto en EBE06: la pata negra.; o el sábado 18 de noviembre de 2006 Entrevista a Mullenweg, WordPress: «Los bloggers deberían aspirar a cumplir las normas éticas de los medios tradicionales».
Como todo en la vida, con unas cosas estoy de acuerdo y con otras no(estoy con el pata negra siempre y sea donde sea, y no estoy con la implantación de normas éticas, cada uno haga con su …lo que quiera sin hacer daño a nadie), pero creo que Prologue, es un tema interesante nunca mejor dicho. Además. Me sorprendió la claridad de ideas (pocas, sencillas y claras…algunos parecen tener muchas pero…sin mucho sentido, revoltillo o copypaste), su aparente espíritu sensible, y su defensa de la vida personal frente a la vida obsesa de los superbroker que sólo ven trabajo. Con Prologue creo que andamos en la mezcolanza, el batiburrillo, la variedad, la fusión, …el mashup en el sentido conceptual del término. sirva este post como un canto al jamón de pata negra (el alimento perfecto del norte de África o el sur de Europa, según se mire), y al WordPress, que llevo utilizando hace unos meses y me parece lo ideal en un software: transparente para el usuario, y que permite concentrarse en lo que estás pensando. Este blog no lo paso a WordPress, por pura pereza, una de las características claves del torito eraser. En fin, os dejo la introducción de Matt al Prologue… También comentan el tema

Introducing Prologue

We’re fans of Twitter around here, in fact many Automatticians have accounts, but while the format appealed to us it really just whetted our appetite for something more, like a way for each of us to share short messages about what we’re doing or working on internally, or private messages between groups of folks.

So last week Joseph Scott and Matt Thomas decided to tackle this problem and within a few days they had a new theme for us: Prologue. Imagine it like a group Twitter. It’s best demonstrated with a demo:

If you click on the screenshot above, you’ll see a live demo blog with some messages from different Automattic folks. Basically how it works is when someone has the ability to post to a blog they see a short form at the top of the home page with a post box and tags.
