European Launch Conference for the Lifelong Learning Programme

The Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 will promote the transborder mobility of teachers and learners at all levels of education and it will support cooperation between education institutions in various European countries with approximately 7 billion euro.

The European Commission awards the prize for lifelong learning to outstanding projects under the ERASMUS, COMENIUS, GRUNDTVIG, LEONARDO DA VINCI and JEAN MONNET programmes.

The European Launch Event for the Lifelong Learning Programme will be organized jointly by the BMBF and the European Commission.

The research group EduMedia of Salzburg Research deals with research and development (R&D) on innovative educational processes and -technologies in schools, universities and professional training. R&D work and European projects encompass the following services:

  • Monitoring of innovative trends in learning and knowledge technologies
  • Evaluation of learning tools and online teaching and learning materials (eContent)
  • Concomitant research of applied development projects
  • Design and development of software-prototypes (-components)
  • Action research for didactical and technological pilot-concepts in learning and teaching
