The Docebo suite is a completely free content management (CMS) and e-learning (LMS) platform released under Open Source license.

The e-learning platform supports scorm 1.2 and manages more than 50 functions, the CMS.

Docebo 3.0.6 maintenance version is now online

Docebo 3.0.6 has been released, you can download the upgrade and the full installer from the Download area, you will find also Manuals and Free Online Courses

Docebo 3.0.5 released

Docebo 3.0.5 has been released and it is available in update and full version. It fixes several bugs and several language errors. The Portuguese installation problem is fixed too.

Scorm tutorial and samples

Lot of users ask what is scorm and how to use it so we have decided to publish a small tutorial that explain what is scorm, and what is a scorm compliant LMS.

This is not the usual «silly theoric manual» (all are similar and unuseful) but is a practice manual with exampleas that you can download. At the bottm of this words you will find the PDF file and also the Examples, for downloading the sample please click on the file you need to download.

Haiku. Learning Management System

En espera del proyecto de plataforma española Cursoo que anunciamos el martes 5 de septiembre de 2006 [not] Nuevo proyecto: plataforma de cursos online ,

y del que no he vuelto a tener noticias, vía acceso web 2.0 he encontrado la referencia al siguiente LMS o plataforma de e-learning. Este post será para anunciar la plataforma, la testearemos unos días y haremos un comentario posteriormente sobre su uso. Sólo haré algunos apuntes de urgencia.

Lo primero que me ha encantado es el nombre y lo que parece implicar: Haiku (ya conocéis mi debilidad por los haikus). Si la tendencia a la sencillez conceptual está conseguida me apunto.
En segundo lugar, me encanta el mensaje:
Si lo cumple, una buena tríada.
Me he dado de alta y el proceso es muy sencillo, buen comienzo, os dejo la captura de pantalla para crear los primeros bloques.
Acabo de crear un curso de e-learning y web 2.0 para profesorado universitario. No me gusta el límite del título en el curso, imagino que podrá corregirse facilmente. Pero es muy limitado los caracteres que permite introducir el curso….

Otra cosa que me ha gustado es que han creado una comunidad, imprescindible creo, alrededor de la herramienta. Como me gusta decir, con «tos los avíos del puchero 2.0»: con su foro, su blog, su wiki….

Como hay mucho que probar, seguiremos hablando.

Como dicen en acceso web 2.0: «Dans la version gratuite, vous ne pourrez créer qu’un site pour une classe et bén: éficirez d’une capacité de stockage sur de 1Mb .
